CR7: The GOAT of Football

It was Friday, February 5, 1985. A boy was born in Funchal, Madeira, in Portugal. The boy's name was Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, better known by his sporting name Cristiano Ronaldo. Who could have predicted at the time that this boy would one day rule football?

Maria Dolores dos Santos and Jose Dinis Aveiro were the parents of Cristiano Ronaldo. His father was an inebriated gardener with a meager income. Cristiano was just 20 years old when his father passed away in 2005 as a result of heavy drinking. Cristiano's greatest regret is that his father was unable to see him succeed.



Early Years:
Cristiano was his parents' youngest and fourth child. He has been interested in football since he was a young child and played for Andorinha from 1992 to 1995 before spending the following two years with Nacional. He was signed by Sporting CP in 1997, where his career began to change.


Senior Career:
Ronaldo started his senior career with Sporting CP before being signed by Manchester United in 2003. His first season, he won the FA Cup. Later in 2009, Real Madrid acquired him for an 80 million pound transfer record. Following his success at Real Madrid, he was recruited by Juventus in 2018 and then made a comeback to his former team Manchester United in 2021. He is presently looking for a new club.

Ever since he began playing football, Cristiano Ronaldo has dominated the sport and set several records for his national teams, clubs, and himself.


1. National Team: Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a record 118 goals for his National Team since his debut, 10 of which are hat-tricks. Additionally, Ronaldo won the 2019 UEFA Nations League and the 2016 UEFA European Championship while captaining Portugal.

Cristiano Ronaldo is regarded as the Greatest of All Time after demonstrating his brilliance numerous times. Many fans of football fell in love during this career's wild ride of ups and downs. Cristiano Ronaldo's national career comes to an end here after his team's defeat to Morocco in the FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals, but his legacy will live on and he will always be remembered as the GOAT.
