"So you are a debater, volunteer and artist beside being a student, is it so?" one of my relative asked. Then i said, "yes, extra curricular activity is also very important and helpful beside study.

What is Extracurricular Activity ? 

An activity, performed by students, that falls outside the realm of the normal go through education system. Extracurricular activities all complement an academic curriculum.

• They Let You Do Something You Enjoy

Extra curricular activities let you participate in an activity you enjoy, Whether that's playing football, painting or anything other. Participating in this activity regularly will help you get better at it, and you will be able to develop new skills that you might find useful in future.

Students often make new friends through the activities because they can see other members' interest in it.

Extracurriculars can also be included in our College or school application or any kind of abroad universities application. The authorities will be able to know more about you.

While extra curricular activities often take up a  lot of time of regular School hours, they also provide students with opportunities to gain life skills that will be crucial for Their future success. These activities are a great way to keep the students engaged and allow them to learn something.

Possible groups include Habitat For Humanity, Room in the Inn, family shelters etc. Colleges value these activities because they show you care about people and will likely contribute to campus community. 

• Personality Activities : Personality activities emphasize to colleges who you are beyond YOUR grades,test scores and application. They make you a unique person who jumps off the page. Examples include sports and scouting.
